Volunteers: The Heart and Sole of Clothes To Kids

Volunteers are the “heart and sole” of Clothes To Kids. Each year, hundreds of adult volunteers donate their time and talents to sort, tag, shop alongside our shoppers and support our core values. Volunteer service saves more than an estimated $361,000 in operational costs each year.

​Every Helping Hand Makes a Difference​

We welcome corporations, community groups, faith congregations, and many more to join us in providing the opportunity for children in our community to shop! No prior experience is necessary; we’ll show you what to do!

Note: Each volunteer group is required to email our Volunteer and Clothing Coordinator, Caroline Stroud before their chosen opportunity. We cannot accommodate groups who have not reserved a volunteer shift at least two weeks in advance.

Please expect a response from our Volunteer and Clothing Coordinator, Caroline Stroud, in 24-48 business hours.

  • Shopper Services - Greeter, floor associate, help restock, fill Clothes To Go orders

    Administrative Support - answer phones, set appointments, data entry

    Backroom / Warehouse - sort and tag clothing, restock the store, mending or laundry

    Outside the Stores - go shopping, pick up clothing drives, organize / host a clothing drive, attend community events

  • This is what we do! We love clothes! Please wear what you feel best in. A sure bet is weather appropriate attire and closed-toe shoes.

  • Typically, there is ample parking available in the shopping plaza. However, parking can be limited. Please consider carpooling.

  • Court Appointed Community Services hours cannot be fulfilled at Clothes To Kids.
